GRATITUDE
The blessed power of gratitude.
20 reasons for which I am happy and grateful, today 10.11.2020.
I am happy and grateful that:
– I woke up healthy and happy this morning;
— I managed to build a routine to send a message of respect, love, and gratitude to the Supreme Spiritual Forces in the morning and the evening.
–I did aerobic gymnastics, dancing on some Latin songs; with emotional intensity, of course!
-I continued my sports activity at the punching bag and the gym machine;
-I had a frugal breakfast on the terrace in front of the house, laughing and talking to my partner;
–this morning, I listened to some musical pieces created by famous classical authors, which delighted me and made me more sensitive and better;
-since it recently rained, we found more water in the well, and we don’t have to make strict savings anymore;
-I tasted a delicious apple and a grape from my garden;
-I went to the greenhouse and found that I still have many tomatoes and many peppers for salads;
-I enjoyed the scent of a chrysanthemum bush;
– I went to the garden and found that I still have a lot of fresh vegetables;
-I took a walk on my property and found that I am energy independent, having many acacias that I can use to heat the house;
-I live in an area with hills, ecological, picturesque, protected from aggressive beings and criminals;
-I have two motivational books, recently bought, that I have to read these days;
-I have harmonious relations, and I am respected by all the people from this rural community;
-I have a good car with which I can travel anywhere, even throughout Europe;
-yesterday, I met with the IT specialist, who deals with my blog, and I found creative solutions for improvement;
-today is Sunday, and I am freer and calmer. This means that I have good conditions to write this short article for the blog;
-I have a house, a shelter, in which I feel strong and safe, like an emperor;
-I reached the performance of being in every moment happy, optimistic, delighted, by this adventure of life.
Because human beings can never be fully fulfilled and harmonious, I must confess that I am a little frustrated; Whenever, I have made mental or written lists of the gifts for which I am grateful, I have found that there is still an infinity that you must enjoy and for which you must be grateful.
ex:
-the water in the fountain is clear and pure;
-I found some mushrooms this morning, from which I will make a tasty lunch;
-the air breathed this morning is very pure and refreshing;
– etc.… etc.…
I think that’s why the French people coined the phrase “Joie de vivre” translated into joy of everything.
Their message is something like this: don’t cut the thread in four all day, don’t do all kinds of meticulous analyzes; rejoice and be grateful, in every moment, with intensity, for the fact that you participate, in this fabulous adventure that is life!
Thank you for this simplification!
As long as we focus on these infinite gifts, there is no place in our mind and soul for negative thoughts and emotions.
Once, a shipwreck on an uninhabited island, after several years, was rescued by a ship crew, which passed through the area. Arriving in port, he found himself assaulted by many reporters who asked him a lot of questions. One of the reporters asked him the following question:
“After this incredible adventure, after being isolated for so many years alone on an island, what do you think, what conditions can ensure the happiness of a human being? After a few moments of reflection, our shipwrecked man answered thoughtfully: I believe that to be a happy human being, he must have access to two things: clean water and bread; if he has these two elements insured, he can access the state of happiness, only if he will be endowed with valuable thoughts and beliefs.”
I want to say that gratitude is one of the fundamental values of common sense, an effective conviction to instantly access the state of intense joy.
Used repeatedly in the practice of our lives, it metamorphoses into an important habit or automatism that I call: SKILL OF JOY.
I don’t comment on the extremely small percentage of human beings who currently practice this force-value. What a pity!
I don’t want to make you sad, right at the beginning of our relationship.
Regarding the strategies by which you can adopt a continuous joy in your life and that of your child, I recommend reading the first volume of the book Pollyanna written in 1913 by the writer Eleanor H. Porter. Published over a century ago, this work has succeeded in changing millions of human beings’ lives for the better. It is perhaps the simplest and most effective inspirational message: Use your wisdom and creativity and turn ANY SITUATION IN LIFE into a positive, fun, enchanting event. A kind of joy to the minute!
Of course, it can help you in this regard as well.
Due to the state of “Joie de vivre,” I was in, I woke up doing this on the terrace of the house!
After going through an elaborate rejuvenation process, everyone feels the need to fly!
Some say that if you have accumulated many years, age is just a number. In 3 months, I will turn 72 years old. What do you say? Then, will I be an old man looking for a place in an asylum or a worried energetic man who designs new creative strategies to bring harmony and joy into people’s lives?
